Used as a grounding electrode for buildings and utility poles.
Manufactured from AISI 1035 Steel.
Copper is electrically bonded to the entire length of the rod.
The size of rod, manufacturer’s mark, and appropriate testing requirement (i.e.: UL Listed) is stamped near the end of each rod for easy identification.
Steel is drawn before plating for strength and consistency.
Rod ends are chamfered to prevent “mushrooming” while driving and allow the ground clamp to slip over rod after installation.
